副动词多用于叙述类语篇中 ,表达事件、情景在交际类型句内部时间上的相互对应 ,这一对应常通过副动词不同的体来表达 ,与言语时间没有直接的联系 ;而形动词则还可以用于表达交际类型句之间的相互作用 ,事件之间时间上的相互关系通过外部观点、主观评述主体的观点与基本述体相对应 ,对其而言 ,体范畴和时间范畴都是必不可少的。
