衬托 中国画设色技法。用一种颜色烘托出其他颜色的物象，使它形象突出，色彩丰富，增强装饰性。先以矿物色或图案色平涂纸上。使其均匀，色宜一次调足，不宜重调。上色时可在纸背涂一层清水。也有背面衬托法叫“飞”。为使颜色鲜艳明快，在上好色的物象背面涂一层颜色，亦叫“衬托”。绿叶涂一层石绿。白花涂一层白粉等。此法工艺绘画常用。
