In this paper we try to explain the high corruption and high growth coexist in China by analyzing the development path of the private enterprises and the existing research results of "corruption grease the wheels" hypothesis.

The final research result shows that there are four important demensions of corrup motivation: corrupt cost, corrupt profit, corrupt opportunity and corrupt attitude.
