By providing adequate texts from Critical Review on the criticism of academic abuse in the early 20th century and on the discussion of scholar spirit and responsibility,this paper intends to analyse the spirit of humanity advocated by Critical Review and thus to inherit the academic tradition of Southeast University after a proper evaluation.
