This article generalizes six themes in the studies concerning disposing incompetent school teachers in America: the definition of incompetent teachers;the causes and harm of incompetent teachers;the process of disposing incompetent teachers;teacher dismissal;the proportion of occurrence and disposal of incompetent teachers and the difficulties in disposing incompetent teachers.
