预付款保函
预付款保函在有些工程招标中，规定在中标签约后，招标人向中标人支付一定比例(大多是合同金额的10%)的预付款，但需要中标的人委托银行出具付款保函。又称“定金保函”。担保责任为:如果由于中标人的责任而不能在规定期限内从工程款中扣还全部付款.则招标人有权向银行索偿担保金作为赔偿。预付款一般将逐月从工程支付款中扣还因此预付款值将逐月减小。承包人在通过银行开出该保函时，应写明这点。工程施工期间.应当至少每个季度从业主那里取得同意此保函值的通知，送交银行确认，也有的承包人凭业主付款帐单写出保的减值通知书，并取得业主和银行的共同确认。承包人全部还清预付款后，业主应退还该保函。
