The author reviews the thoughts and rituals of Taoist Jing-ming sect in Song and Yuan dynasties, explores the relationship between it and traditional Taoist sects such as Tian-shi sect, Ling-bao sect, Shang-qing sect and Zhong-lv-jin- dan sect, and believes that Jing-ming sect is a new sect which combines the theories of Fu-lu and Nei-dan.

| 符箓派 道教中以符箓咒语驱鬼治病为主的各教派的通称。从古代巫术和民间鬼神信仰发展演化而来。早期以太平道、五斗米道为代表。南北朝隋唐时兴盛的茅山上清派、阁皂山灵宝派、龙虎山天师道，以及宋元时新兴的神霄派、清微派、天心派、东华派、净明道、太一道等，皆属于符箓道派。以上诸符箓派以天师道为首，在元以后逐渐集合为正一道，与全真道为首的丹鼎道派并立。 |
