青铜兵器 是从狩猎工具发展而来，汉代的典籍中有所谓“五兵”，指的是矛、弩、剑、戈、锻（见郑玄注《周礼》）。但《吕览》中说五兵是指矛、戟、钺、楯、矤。说法不一。现存的青铜兵器大体有戈、戟、矛、戍、剑、刀、镞、弩机等八类。
