（人名）宋杭州灵隐寺明教大师契嵩，字中灵，藤州镡津李氏子。游方遍参知识，得法于洞山晓聪禅师。师有文才，作原教篇十余万言，明儒释一贯之旨，以抗韩愈排佛之说。后居永安兰若，著禅门定祖图传法正宗记，并辅教篇，上进仁宗皇帝，帝览之叹赏，诏入大藏使流通，赐号明教。熙宁四年六月寂。有文集二十卷，名镡津文集。盛行于世。见佛祖统纪四十五，佛祖通载三十八，稽古略四，续传灯录五。
