西莫·海亚海是一名芬兰狙击手。在1939年至1940年的苏芬战争期间，以西莫·海亚海为首的芬兰狙击手组成了滑雪部队，他们身穿白色伪装服，借助雪橇在大雪封山的荒郊野外来去自如。而身着棕褐色制服、在雪地中辛苦跋涉的苏联红军士兵成了他们最明显的目标。在百余天的战争中，海亚海一共射杀了505名苏联士兵，他和战友们被对手称为“白色死神”。
