讳道明。初游方。契旨于黄蘖。寻住观音院。常余百众。得数十载。后舍众住开元寺房。常作草屦。潜施道路。或货屦。侍养老母。时人号为陈蒲鞋。巢兵尝而。师标大草屦一只于城门。巢欲弃之。竭力不能举。乃叹曰。睦州有大圣人。将舍城而去。更不敢入。以是民免兵寇扰攘。师机峻急。造旨者稀。唯云门一人契师意。令嗣雪峰。师一日忽召众曰。此处缘息。吾当逝矣。乃跏趺而终。寿九十八。腊七十六
