审美意象(aesthetie image)审美产生的具体意识形式,是对审美对象的完整把握,是审美语言所引起的复杂、和谐的内心体验。它是主体审美情趣与客体审美形象相结合,对有关映象和表象加以重新改造和组合的结果。其生理机制是感性意象的储存,其原型是原始意象,其创造属非自觉意识,与自觉意识常相背离。它反映的是主观性的真实。它诞生的典型形式是灵感的发生。它所参与的心理因素有理智、理解、再造和创造性想像、联想及情感。艺术家运用一定物质材料和艺术技巧使其物态化,产生出专供人审美的艺术作品。它是艺术创作和欣赏不可缺少的重要环节。不同的人对同一审美对象会产生不同的审美意象,创造出不同风格和个性的艺术形象。 (黄冬梅撰张舟玲市)
