Inspecting and restoring the Zhou society in early stage by using the pre-Qin scripts as Poems proves that the ancient scripts have an irreplaceable position though the archaeological excavation materials are important to the ancient history study.

Proper evaluation of and use of language materials presuppose the proper handling of the re- lationship between written language and oral language,between prose and verse,between document handed down and unearthened document,and also between dialects and standard language.
