台湾种植业
种植业分为粮食作物（农艺作物）、经济作物（特用作物）与园艺作物三大类别。
粮食作物主要包括谷类（稻类、小麦、高粱、粟、大麦、玉米及荞麦等）、豆类（大豆、红豆、花豆、绿豆等）与薯类（甘薯、树薯及马铃薯等）三大类。其中，以稻米为最重要。
经济作物主要有甘蔗、茶叶、烟草、亚麻、油菜、棉花、黄麻、剑麻等20余种。其中甘蔗、茶叶最为重要。
台湾园艺作物包括水果、蔬菜、洋菇与花卉等，在种植业中所占地位不断提高。台湾水果生产品种多，主要有香蕉、菠萝（凤梨）、柑桔、柚子、橙、龙眼、荔枝、杨桃、木瓜、梨、苹果、桃子、柿子等。90年代来，水果生产结构也发生变化，梨、槟榔、荔枝、莲雾、葡萄、龙眼、木瓜等水果发展较快，而过去占绝对优势的香蕉、菠萝等所占比重开始下降。
