Based on the proposed methods,the relay protection simulation models which have nothing to do with the operation mode are developed,the corresponding protection simulation flow is designed,which are applied to the simulation training system of the controlled station, and the accuracy of protection models and simulation method is confirmed through example tests.

Finally,the validity of protection models is verified by taking the simulation training system of a certain collecting control station as an example.

According to comparative analysis of the simulation results,thermal model protection can match the characteristics of the operating motor and guarantee the motor runs safely and reliably.
