It is proposed that we must adjust the transformation and cultural integration in process of urban and rural coordination,that is,new civil self dependent and supported,the original civil and new civil mutual respect and understanding,the government should actively as to coordinate urban and rural culture collision,and achieve cultural harmony and social harmony.

In view of anthropological explanation of urbanization, this paper holds that urbanization is the process of urban-rural relative development and deduces that urban-rural cultural integration, which is based on the aforementioned point, incarnates the essence of urbanization.

It have great strategic meanings to plan cultural development in urban and rural areas as a whole, and it’s an important action to implement the scientific concept of development.
