The thesis starts by studying the evolution of landforms of Fuzhou urban district and the hydrologic characteristics of Minjiang river,then analyses the relations between flood and landforms,furthermore,discusses the flood caused by the landforms in Fuzhou urban district.

Physics-based hydrologic-response/erosion model InHM was employed to simulate landscape evolution in 100 years period for Hawaiian island Kaho olawe.

From an interdisciplinary point of view of urban geomorphology,this paper discusses the land deformation process(LDP) of the urban area of central Shanghai,the controlling role to the sedimentation of river system,and relations to the flood prevention wall as well as the problems faced and countermeasures at present time.
