This paper summarizes the development of human-environment geography in English-speaking countries with the emphasis on its traditions and development in the past 100 years.
晚近时期英语国家人地关系地理学的发展可以大体分为三个阶段,每一个阶段,占主导地位的研究主题、研究方法和思想观点都有各自的特色,但又有继承性:(1)上世纪50年代以前两大方向并列发展期:人类对地球的改变(或文化景观)和改变我们的地球,两者都是在抛弃地理环境决定论的基础上力图重新解释人地关系。
