| 独生子女 only child 没有兄弟姐妹的孩子。独生子女与非独生子女，具有同样的身心发展规律。但在儿童社会化过程中，兄弟姐妹关系具有重要的作用 。 独生子女 除了与父母之间的亲子关系外，没有兄弟姐妹这层关系，因此其社会化带有自身的特点。 19世纪末，美国心理学家G.S.霍尔率先研究独生子女问题，分析了独生子女的特异性。1928年，H.F.胡克等人发表一系列研究论文，强调家族关系在人格形成中的重要性，把独生子女与家族联系起来加以研究。德国研究独生子女从医学角度开始，小儿科医生E.内特尔1906年发表了《独生子女及其教育》。1937年，日本保育会会长、儿童心理学家山下俊郎发表《独生子女  其心理与教育》一文，阐述了独生子女的意义及其渊源，分析了独生子女的心理特点，提出了独生子女的教育原则。中国 80 年代以后 ，随着把提倡一对夫妇只生一个孩子、优生和优育定为一项基本国策，对独生子女问题的研究开始引起有关部门和专家学者的重视 ，并使用问卷 、个案调查、实验、比较等方法，对独生子女与非独生子女进行比较研究。大多数研究者认为，独生子女在遗传体质方面与非独生子女无大的差异，但由于独生子女在家庭中所处的地位特殊，容易养成其性格上的特异性。有的学者重视把独生子女与家庭、家族联系起来加以研究。 |
