中国古代关于道德行为与物质利益的关系问题的争辩。义，指思想行为符合一定的道德标准；利，指利益、功利。孔子重义轻利，反对不讲道德而获得富贵，把义利两者分离。韩非则注重功利，认为人与人之间首先是利害关系。在中国封建社会中，儒家重义轻利的道义论基本上占据着统治地位。
