罢工统计
罢工统计又称劳工(产业)争议统计，或停工统计。至于什么是罢工，各国在罢工的人数和持续的时间上规定不完全一致。在美国，罢工指有六人以上参加，持续时间至少一昼夜或一个轮班。英国则指有十人以上参加，持续时间至少一天。罢工统计的目的，是为了掌握工人罢工的规模、程度和影响，为国家实施有关政策，挽回罢工损失提供依据。 罢工统计的指标主要有:罢工次数、罢工人数、罢工工日数等。有时也计算其他一些指标，如罢工平均持续天数，罢工人数占全部就业人数的比重，罢工工日数占全部工作时间的百分比等。 罢工次数、罢工人数、罢工工日数都是反映罢工规模、罢工频繁程度和罢工涉及范围的指标。罢工次数是一定时期内工人罢工的次数的总和。罢工人数是每次罢上直接参加的人数总和。罢工工日数是一定时期内罢工者因罢工而停止工作的日数的总和，一般可用罢工人数乘以罢工持续天数求得。 西方国家一般都要按月或按年统计罢工。按月统计罢工，通常同时使用两种计算方法:一是计算本月新发生的罢工，二是计算当月累计发生的罢工总数。按年统计的罢工，通常指当年新发生的罢工，亦即从一月到十二月各月新发生的罢工的总和。
