On English teaching strategy under the multi-media environment;

The paper introduces some English teaching strategies, which can guide teachers to teach English more effectively, teach students to master some learning strategies, cultivate students’abilities to use learning strategies consciously, and help students to study more independently.

From the perspective of teaching elements, this paper probes into the multiple English teaching strategies based on learning and instructional theories and in consideration of the characteristics of foreign language teaching, with the intention of providing new insights for foreign language teaching practice.

Advanced English Teaching Within the Purview of Reading Theory

This paper,based on Halliday′s register theory and the application of three elements of the Register Theory to Advanced English teaching,discusses the important ideas of Advanced English teaching for the sake of overcoming the shortcomings of out-of-date teaching methods.

Applying stylistic analysis and context analysis in Advanced English teaching is effective in cultivating students awareness of style and context,deepening students comprehension and appreciation of the text,and promoting the realization of teaching aim of the course.
