The trace elements for pottery sherds excavated from Xuejiagang site in Qianshan county were tested and analyzed by using ICP.
结合考古发掘资料,利用等离子体发射光谱(ICP),分析薛家岗遗址出土古陶样品的微量元素含量,可知黄鳝嘴遗址应是薛家岗文化的源头之一,而崧泽文化也可能是其另一个源头;薛家岗文化晚期与良渚文化可能有着直接的文化交流与贸易往来。

One more baked earth ground-surface was found at the Yongxing site, west to the Xuejiagang site.
在该遗址西面的永兴遗址,还发现了一处可能与建筑有关的大面积红烧土堆积,它与薛家岗遗址应有密切的关系。

Henan Provincial Instrtute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology,in cooperating with the construction of the Mid-Line Project of South to North Water Diversion,excavated the Xuecun site in Xingyang city from April to December of 2005.
2005年4~12月,河南省文物考古研究所配合南水北调中线工程,发掘了荥阳市薛村遗址,发现了二里头文化晚期至二里岗上层时期聚落一处及其大量的相关遗迹。

襄阳邓城韩岗遗址位于襄樊市区西北郊,是一处省级文物保护单位“邓城”的从属遗址。

| 薛家岗遗址 中国长江下游地区以新石器时代遗存为主的遗址。位于安徽潜山。1979～1980年发掘。新石器遗存分为4期 。第一期以红陶为主，有少量彩陶，估计距今6000年左右；第四期距今4000余年，相当于龙山文化阶段。遗址中还有少量商代遗存。遗址中的第二、三期遗存最丰富。出土地面式和半地穴式残房基3座 。石器中扁薄石钺和多孔长梯形大石刀富于特色。陶器多灰黑色，无彩陶，出现少量彩绘陶。玉器制作达到一定水平。发现墓葬103座，随葬品除实用器外，还有非实用的明器类小陶器，以及猪下颌骨。以薛家岗第二、三期文化为代表的遗存，已命名为薛家岗文化，年代推定为距今约5500～4800年，主要分布在大别山以东巢湖以西的皖西南地区，在鄂东黄梅、赣北靖安也有发现。 |
