性质:由各向同性和中间相沥青经熔喷法制得的超细碳纤维及毡片。直径2~5μm,通用级可纺性好,但碳丝强度极低,高强型碳丝强度1.47GPa。模量147GPa。石墨丝最高强度3.14GPa。伸长率0.43%。模量735GPa,平均长度87mm。制法:(1)将通用级沥青在其熔点以上温度熔喷,制得毡片后稳定化和碳化而得;(2)将软化点为275~285℃的中间相沥青(含量95%~100%),在310~320℃及360~370℃空气流下熔喷,用常规法连续不熔化和碳化(1400℃),必要时在2500~2800℃石墨化而得。用作电磁波屏蔽材料、水泥和复合材料增强剂、活陛炭纤维、锂电池电极、制动材料及摩擦材料等。
