This paper investigates the status quo of the physical activities for the fishermen in the littoral of Jiangsu Province by means of literature review, questionnaires, conversations and statistic analyses and shows that these fishermen are quite backward in both attendance and consciousness and poor in health.
分析认为，对体育活动缺乏兴趣、惰性、陋习和畏难情绪、对参与体育活动的重要性认识不够、体育态度被动，依赖性强等主观因素和基层组织不重视渔民体育、体育经费严重短缺、体育场地设施和器材相当匮乏、生产压力大，无力顾及、体育知识欠缺，不知道如何安排体育锻炼、渔民组成复杂，不利于组织和管理、季节和气候等客观因素导致了当前渔村群众体育的落后状况。
