1.古代按品级授予官吏作俸禄的公田。北魏太和九年(公元485年)均田﹐地方官吏也按级分给公田﹐为授职分田之始。隋时已有职分田之称﹐以后历代相沿﹐唯授田数量各有增减。职分田于解任时移交后任﹐不得买卖。官吏受田佃给农民耕种﹐收取地租。明以后废除﹐但仍有养廉田﹑庄田等名目。
