This paper presents a study of the extinct versions of Romance of the Western Bower of the Ming Dynasty,including some whose whereabouts is unknown,and some whose existence is disputed in the academic circles.

In the related lost works of existing chronicles of Mozi,the entry of "presenting books to King Hui" can make up for what is missing in the book,while the entry of "heaven and earth" is not trustworthy,the entry of "material is superior to culture" is basically reliable,and the entry of "shentudi" is hard to decide.

The author yields five lost works from poems collection in Qing Dynasty.

During the period of Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty, when Complete Library in Four Divisions was being compiled, Xu’s lost articles found in Yongle Canon were put together and worked into twenty volumes, with quete a number of them missing, only one lost poem coming from Dong’ou Collected Poems .

The text here collects the two lost articles entitled A Dissertation on The Book of Poems and A Dissertation on The Annals of Spring and Autumn, which are unseen in the various existing editions of The Collection of Luancheng and The Works of Su Zhe, and neglected by the related scholars.
