江南第二泉位于雨花台东岗，原名雨花泉，因清泉一泓在永宁寺内，又曾称永宁泉。泉凡二孔，水出地面1米，纤湮缕浸，清洌甘美，色味俱绝，宋陆游品为第二泉，位列金陵名泉之首。明代赵谦为其书题“第二泉”匾额，后毁无存。
由郑光复先生设计的二泉饭店和茶社，为二泉增添了建筑景观。饭店一色铜花窗栏杆，门窗全为单扇或双扇有腰无腰门、窗框，饭店西部和南部饰以亭廊，曲形亭廊满布着爬山虎等攀爬植物。
二泉茶社为有腰木制窗框，对开双扇木制无腰门。窗开处，泉池旁，假山叠筑，石阶几几。陵园设计的陆游品茶雕像、镌刻在大理石上的著名书法家萧娴所题“江南第二泉”，流溢着淡淡的茶香。春秋佳赏，游屐纷至，品茗闲话，不亦乐乎。
