The paper holds that Prasenjit Duara′s nationalism research takes on the significance of discourse turn based on the research regarding nationalism and criticisms on the view of linear history in Prasenjit Duara′s works like Rescuing Histoy by Nation-State and the theoretical background of these criticisms.

In this article,the author,in the light of documental data,combs out the national history and culture in Qinghai,and holds that the characteristics of national history and culture in Qinghai are distinctive and well worth discussing.
