predilection
偏爱(predileetion)对某一对象、某种情境的不公正、不平均的施爱而漠视其余，这种施爱常常是过分的。由于偏爱，受到不公正对待的孩子感到被人遗弃或漠视，往往滋长对父母的敌意或憎恨受到偏爱的孩子，产生嫉妒心理，甚至采取某些报复行为。也可表现为孤僻不合群，自暴自弃，甚至堕落犯罪或自杀。对于受偏爱的孩子而言，因为施爱过分，心理影响也往往是不好的。 (江开达撰徐俊觅审)
