圣安当女书院由中华无原罪圣母女修会(the chinese congregation of the immaculate conception)创办。
〖大事年表〗
1969年 开始建设校舍。
1971年 完成校舍建筑工程。并于圣安当小学招生。
1972年 开办中一及中二九个班别。
2001年 校舍改善工程完成。
