Based on the data of China\'s top 500 companies, China\'s top 500 manufacturing companies and China\'s top 500 service companies, which published by China Enterprise Confederation and China Enterprise Directors Association every year, this paper argues the latest trends, characteristics, problems on large companies of China, and find that they still remain rapid and steady growth.

This paper presents the theory on core competitiveness,analyzes the essential factors in core competitiveness of the global 500 companies and brings forward the focus on fostering core competitive superiority of large SOEs in China.
