原名《中国通史简编》。书名。范文澜编著。1941年在延安初版。建国后，经修订出版了前三编共四册。1978年改名《中国通史》，由人民出版社出版，共十册，五至十册由蔡美彪等续写。是最早运用马克思主义系统论述中国历史发展过程的通史著作之一。写法夹叙夹议，文字简洁生动，深入浅出。
