No:1 fount was called southern whirlpool water in the Tang Dynasty when it was at the bottom of the Yangzi River full of terrifying waves, which made it very difficult to draw the water.
“天下第一泉”在唐代称“南泠水”,那时“南泠水”处在惊涛骇浪的扬子江底,汲取是很不容易的,要用特殊工具———“铜瓶”。
