龙形八卦推手为傅振嵩所创。该拳的主要特点是手、眼、身、法、步高度统一，灵活，掌如穿梭，连绵不断。单换掌和双换掌如游龙吐舌、青龙探爪，迎面掌和推胸掌如劈雷闪电，缠腰掌和旋身掌如乌龙缠身。拧、旋、滚、转，一身是圆，浑身为大圈，手足处处有小圆。进圆、退圆、平圆、立圆，鼓荡似波涛，活步走弧形。以腰为轴，腰带四肢，掌随步到，身随掌走。可以定步出掌，一步一掌，亦可在走动中多步一掌，最后一步定为顺掌顺步。全身一气贯通，柔韧中富有弹性。应用推、托、带、领、搬、拦、截、扣、拧、翻、走、转、缠、穿、裹、钻之技法，互相串通，融为一体。这些技法，可以单用，也可以混用，攻中有防，防中有攻。能化能发，能拨动四两化千斤，亦能运全身千斤劲力发放于手掌。可以正面攻，侧面攻，袭敌之背为龙形八卦推手技击法最大特点。
