Based on the library\'s catalogue of rubbings of local epigraph,the author dissertates on the value in use of epigraph as sources of local literature,in order to broaden the vision in research of local literation and historical sources.

In the light of this,this article brings out five essential elements in Libraries\' Col-lecting "public praise bibliographic information": the people who take the carrying on work;the place and region where this carrying on work happens;the passing down route;the composition of people who do the collecting job;and the choice of the collecting methods.
