| 盘古 中国古代传说时期中开天辟地的神。盘古事迹初见于三国时徐整著的《三五历纪》。其后，题为南朝梁任昉撰的《述异记》称盘古身体化为天地各物。根据这些记载，天地原本浑沌得像一个鸡蛋，盘古生在其中，过了18000岁，然后天地开辟，阳清者(意指蛋清部分)形成了天，阴浊者（意指蛋黄部分）形成了地。随着天的增高，地的增厚，盘古也一天天增加身体长度。他的头和四肢变成五岳，血液和眼泪变成江河，眼睛变成日月，毛发变成草木；他嘘气变为风雨，声音变为雷霆，目光变为闪电；他睁眼是白天，闭目是晚上；开口为春夏，闭口为秋冬；高兴为晴天，生气为阴天，等等。《述异记》并指出，上述有关盘古的传说，或出于古说，或产生于秦汉，或盛行于吴越之地，或为先儒之说；而古人为了纪念他，在南海建有盘古墓，在桂林建有盘古庙。《三五历纪》并说盘古之后才出现三皇。
