This paper discusses the lexical semantics of Chinese verbs of contact and surface contact within the frame of Lexical Semantics,and reveal the change of these verbs meaning in the different syntactic environment,and classifies these verbs into the different semantic classes.

The paper describes the word contact between Cantonese,mandarin,and Hong Kong dialect,focusing on the contact mechanism.

Solving two dimensional moving contact problems with a hole near the contact interface using the boundary element method;

A double iterative BEM for solving 2D closed crack loaded by a moving contact elastic body;

Finite element analysis of head/disk continuous sliding contact was performed to investigate temperature field and thermal stress field due to frictional heat using an axisymmetric thermal model.

In order to develop the critical operating conditions for demagnetization of the disk,a coupled temperature-displacement finite element analysis of a slider sliding contact with a textured disk surface was performed,so as to investigate simultaneously the stress and temperature distributions in the magnetic layer.
