［二、谦下自卑］，谓比丘入大众中，常用谦和，永绝憍慢，应自卑下，如拭尘巾，是为谦下自卑。
［三、善知坐处］，谓比丘入大众中，动止有时，若见上座，不应安坐，若见下座，不应起立，是为善知坐处。（上座者，谓戒腊在前，道德闻达之比丘也。）
［四、说于法语］，谓比丘入于大众中，不宜杂说论世俗事，若自说法，若请人说法，是为说于法语。
［五、见过默然］，谓比丘入大众中，若见僧中有不如理之事，若便言说，恐致别异，故当安忍，默而不言，是为见过默然。
