| 《搜神记》 中国古代志怪小说集。东晋干宝（？～336）编撰。干宝，字令升，新蔡（今属河南）人。东晋初史学家。曾以著作郎领国史，著《晋纪》，已佚。《晋书·干宝传》说他有感于生死之事，“遂撰集古今神祗灵异人物变化，名为《搜神记》。”《搜神记》原本已散失。今本系后人缀辑增益而成。20卷。共有大小故事454个。所记多为神灵怪异之事，也有一部分属于民间传说。其中《干将莫邪》、《李寄》、《韩凭夫妇》、《吴王小女》、《董永》等，暴露统治阶级的残酷，歌颂反抗者的斗争，常为后人称引。故事大多篇幅短小，情节简单，设想奇幻，极富于浪漫主义色彩。后有托名陶潜的《搜神后记》10卷和宋代章炳文的《搜神秘览》上下卷，都是《搜神记》的仿制品。《搜神记》对后世影响深远，如唐代传奇故事，蒲松龄的《聊斋志异》，神话戏《天仙配》及后世的许多小说、戏曲，都和它有着密切的联系。
