| 平话 话本体裁之一。与诗话、词话相对而言，平话是只说不唱的平铺直叙的话本。另一种解释是，平即平章之平，意即品评，因而后来又写作评话。现存的中国宋元平话多为长篇，题材主要是历史故事 ，如《五代史平话》、五种《全相平话》。还有《西游记平话》仅存佚文。《永乐大典》收有平话26卷，已佚。明清人多写作评话，也有把短篇话本称作评话的，见于《警世通言》第11卷《苏知县罗衫再合》、第17卷《钝秀才一朝交泰》。曲艺界今仍把只说不唱的大书称为评话或评书。 |
