用范组合成铸型进行浇铸的方法。早期的范只能铸一件器物，商代中期发展到一范可铸多件，春秋时期有可重复使用的器形简单的泥范。范铸法具有铸接、铸焊、铸镶等多种工艺型式：
铸接 在器体上加铸附件，或先铸出附件再和器体铸接，如商代的四羊尊即其代表作。
铸焊 把分铸的部件用铅锡合金或铜铸焊在一起，成为成型铸件，如春秋时期的莲鹤方壶。
铸镶 将预铸的花纹状红铜片安放在范内，浇铸器件时镶铸在器件表面。经磨砺抛光，铜片呈现和器件不同的色泽，具有装饰效果。
