卡丹旋轮
意大利数学家卡丹（cardano，1501～1576）设计了一个所谓卡丹旋轮；一个圆盘沿另一大圆盘的内沿滚动，大圆盘半径是小圆盘的2倍。
卡丹问：小圆盘上任标定的一点的轨迹是什么？
卡丹答：该轨迹是一个椭圆。
设开始时标志点m在小圆盘直径ab上，且a与大圆盘中心o重合，b在大圆盘边界上d点。作大圆盘正交的直径cd与ef，见图。滚动的过程可视为a，m，b在动直线上，a，b两点沿直角边滑动，求m点的轨迹，由鲍克勒斯轨迹知，m点的轨迹是一个椭圆，其半轴分别为am与mb。
