| 醴陵市 位于中国湖南省东部，渌水中游。瓷城。简称醴。人口约95.7万，面积2157平方千米。汉族为主。东汉初置醴陵县。隋初省入长沙县。唐武德四年（621）分长沙县复置醴陵县。1985年撤县建市。主要农作物有水稻、甘薯、油菜等。矿藏有铅、锌、钨、金、煤、高岭土等。工业有陶瓷、电瓷、陶瓷机械及花炮制造等厂。瓷器在清末即已形成特色，称为醴陵瓷。名胜古迹有状元洲、醴泉井等。 |
