Zhuangzi s view of shame includes three aspects:the loss of personal dignity and freedom is the biggest shame;poverty is not shameful,while it is a shame to follow no principle in life;it is shame- ful to regard oneself as the savior while causing disturbance to society,such as the followers of Confucius and Mozi.
庄子的耻观主要表现在三个方面:丧失人格尊严和自由是最大的耻辱;贫困不可耻,没有立身行世的原则才可耻,自以为是救世主却扰乱社会如儒者、墨者是一种无耻。

In the traditional Chinese culture,the sense of honor and shame is a noumenon value,to which the philosophers in Xian Qin(dynasties before the Qin) attached great importance,and made it a core concept of Chinese ethics,the sense of honor and disgrace and the sense of courtesy and justice are its exterior form.
