A hydrated product in the sulphoaluminate cement series──tubular ettringite was observed and analyzed by SEM and EDS,It can be found in the neat cement,paste,mortar,hydrated clinker nodules and cement paste added with different amounts of gypsum,The formation of tubular ettringite might be related to a certain crystal structure of C_4A_3S in the clinker produced under nonequilibrium condition.
