| 冲断层 thrust 断层面倾角在30°左右或更小的低角度逆断层。又称逆冲断层。断层的上盘为主动盘的,称仰冲断层;下盘为主动盘的,称俯冲断层。位移量达数千米以上的冲断岩席,称为推覆体(见推覆构造)。冲断层及其上的推覆体可合成为逆冲推覆构造。冲断层一般总是将老地层推覆到较年轻的地层之上,造成地层在垂向上的重复叠置。由于冲断层的倾角平缓,甚至可似波状起伏,经剥蚀作用,冲断岩席若呈孤立的岩块残留在下盘较年轻的岩石之上,周围为断层线所围绕,就形成飞来峰;如果侵蚀作用仅在谷底局部切穿冲断层面,使下盘岩石得以在上盘岩石包围之中出露,则形成构造窗。冲断层大多发育在板块碰撞造山带及前陆褶皱冲断带中。 |
