作者根据：东起阳新富水西止嘉鱼蛇屋山矿田１００ｋｍ范围内所出露的中下寒武至奥陶系及其伴生的大量Ａｕ矿床、矿化体和地球化学异常所反映出明显的矿源层特征；由缓倾斜逆冲断层和牌产状张性滑动断层组成的热水环流通道；σ３４Ｓ、σ１８Ｏ、σＤ等同位素值及成矿温度等，与我国贵州、特别是与美国内华达州卡林型金矿对比，认为在成因上定为卡林型问题不大。

Compared with the gold deposit in Carlin,U·S·A·, Shewushan gold deposit belongs to carlin type, which can be divided into two subtypes-original gold ore and weathered gold ore, The weathered gold ore has been forned trom exposed original gold ore which occurred in tectonite within the gently dipping fault by weathered and leaching.
