| 鲃 Barbinae；barbels 鲤形目鲤科鲃亚科鱼类的通称。体近纺锤形，腹圆无棱。臀鳍无硬刺，分枝鳍条5（长臀鲃属有8～10）；口端位或亚下位；须大多2对，极少1对，甚至缺；吻皮止于上唇基部，下向腹部扩张。唇后沟中断或连续；下咽齿3行。侧线完全。属于暖水性鱼类，一般栖息于底层多乱石而水流较湍急的江河的中、下层，尤喜在清澈的水域中生活。以水生昆虫和其幼虫为主要食物，也取食小型鱼类、虾、高等植物碎片和少量丝状藻类。主要分布于长江中下游到东南亚及非洲，外高加索、菲律宾及黄河、海河也有少数种类。仅中国就约有14属61种，向西达川西、滇南及雅鲁藏布江下游。为常见食用鱼，体型大小各异。多数肉味鲜美。 |
