| 波密县 位于中国西藏自治区东南部， 帕隆藏布河北岸。 面积1.46万平方千米。人口2.49万，主要是藏族 。1959年成立波密县委。地处喜马拉雅山脉东段北麓。为冲积平原。最高峰明朴不登山，海拔6118米。县城所在地扎木镇，海拔2700米。气候温和湿润，年均温8.5℃ ，1 月均温－ 0.2℃，7月均温16.5℃，年降水量 900毫米。农作物主要产小麦、青稞、油菜等，是西藏商品粮基地县之一。有海拔最高的茶园133公顷，所产茶叶质量颇佳。也是出口菌类松茸、羊肚菌的重要产地之一。岗乡自然保护区是山地温带针叶林的典型。境内海洋型冰川发育极好，有著名的卡钦、则普、若果、古乡等冰川。其中卡钦冰川长35千米，面积172 平方千米，冰舌末端伸入森林，下达海拔2500米的地方，蔚为壮观。 |
